Robert Walters Middle East is in collaboration with an international business in the GCC region looking to hire a Working Capital Controller for their team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and evaluate the company's working capital position, including cash conversion cycle, liquidity management, and overall cash flow efficiency
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including finance, operations, procurement, and sales, to identify opportunities for working capital improvement
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and minimize delinquencies
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas of improvement, such as inventory management, payment terms, and vendor negotiations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, vendors, and clients, to facilitate effective working capital management
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior management regarding working capital performance, trends, and potential risks
- Understand and implement processes on client portals to ensure smooth running of processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Studying for or completed a Chartered Account qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
- Proven experience of 3+ years in working capital management, or treasury operations, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Proficient in utilizing relevant tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, payment portals)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment
