UAE Chief Accountant

Robert Walters are working with an FMCG business who are looking for a Chief Accountant to join the team. As the Chief Accountant you will be responsible for; managing the accounting department and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage cash flow and forecasting
• Coordinate and manage audits with external auditors

Requirements:

• Big 4 and Inudstry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• ACCA, ACA, CPA qualified.
• Minimum of 10 years experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
