General Ledger Accountant

Robert Walters is working with a multinational looking to hire a hands-on General Ledger Accountant into their growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in preparing financial reports and reconciling balance sheets
• Maintaining the general ledger and assist with investigating audit findings and any other issues of non compliance
• Preparing and monitoring budgets
• Involved in ad-hoc projects while coordinating with other departments to resolve any issues/queries
• Ensuring compliance of internal controls

Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting along with relevant qualifications (ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Must have up to 10 years of accounting experience in a multinational or complex environment
• Must have working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and tax laws
• Must have strong financial analysis skills
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
