Robert Walters Middle East is currently working with a leading government entity. They are seeking to hire a Department Head (Statutory Reporting) to join their team. This role is based in Riyadh, KSA. *Due to Saudization policies, this role is only open to Saudi Nationals*
Job Description:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory reports and filings in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Manage a team of professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of all reporting requirements
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on matters related to statutory reporting
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations related to statutory reporting and ensure that the company remains in compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, ICAEW, or similar qualifications are preferred
- 9+ years of experience in statutory reporting, accounting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS
- Experience in managing a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
