An excellent opportunity is available with a commodities exchange business who are looking to hire a Senior Internal Auditor. This role will be based in Dubai and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership team. Due to UAE's nationalisation initiative, this role is strictly for a UAE National.

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform risk assessment of audit area and prepare audit plan and perform internal audits in accordance with the Audit Plan in order to provide independent objective assurance designed to improve operational efficiency, internal control, effectiveness of risk management and governance processes.
• To review construction & other property related businesses functions independently as a subject matter expert in order to assess the efficiency of function, resource utilization, value addition to the organization and draft the reports.
• To perform independently the audit of construction and other property related businesses, general corporate functions and other assignments as allocated.

The successful candidate will possess strong work experience within internal audit ideally with experience in industries such as property development and construction with specific emphasis on auditing major projects. Experience with large audit firms or with a major property development company or consultancy firm in UAE is preferable or a relevant background with federal government can be considered.
