The Manager of Collateral Operations will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company's collateral operations. This includes developing and implementing collateral management policies and procedures, managing the company's collateral portfolio, and ensuring the compliance with all applicable collateral management regulations.
1. Collateral Management Expertise: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in collateral management.
2. Regulatory Compliance: • In-depth knowledge of collateral management regulations.
3. Policy Development: • Proven ability to develop and implement collateral management policies and procedures, covering eligibility, segregation, safekeeping, liquidations, haircuts, and margining requirements.
4. Portfolio Oversight: • Demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse collateral portfolio, monitoring levels, overseeing movements, and processing transactions.
5. Risk Mitigation: • Experience working with clearing members and counterparts to effectively manage and mitigate collateral risk exposure.
6. Reporting Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to prepare and present comprehensive collateral reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
7. Margining Management: • Expertise in managing margining requirements for clearing members and other counterparts.
8. Collateral Types Familiarity: • Knowledgeable in collateral eligibility criteria for various types, including cash, securities, and derivatives.
9. System Proficiency: • Familiarity with collateral management systems and tools to streamline operational processes.
10. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic financial environment.
