An excellent opportunity is available with a leading commercial bank offering a range of products and services for a Compliance Assurance Senior Analyst to be based in Abu Dhabi. Due to the UAE's Nationalisation initiative, this role is strictly for a UAE National.

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance Assurance, you will assist in the implementation of internal control frameworks within Compliance and associated governance across key risk areas, tracking and validating the results, assisting in executing and reviewing compliance to the governance framework of Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) to ensure satisfactory implementation across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assurance review and testing of processes within Group Compliance in order to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls from design and operating perspective
• Perform Conduct Assurance reviews to ensure high ethical standards of integrity, fair dealing, and best practices and delivery of fair customer outcomes and market integrity
• Perform review on Consumer Protection, ensuring that all requirements are met and any identified gaps that require remediated with corrective actions are identified
• Assist in the review on Code of Conducts
• Manage ABC mailbox

The Compliance Assurance Senior Analyst will possess strong experience in banking in compliance, branch or operational risk department. You will ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and ideally possess knowledge of UAE Central Bank Securities and Commodities Authority regulations, banking rules and regulations and knowledge of international banking best practices.
