Chief Executive Officer - Regional Development Authority

We are looking to hire a CEO for a newly established tourism and development authority. The client is looking for a well-established CEO with substantial experience in working with regional development & tourism authorities with a track record of enhancing the socio-economic development of a region. The role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with regional development authorities to enhance socio-economic development in various regions of KSA
• Established CEOs globally who are working with regional development authorities
• City development & environmental project experience will be a plus
• Utilize your experience as a CEO with a proven track record of successfully improving the socio-economic conditions of a region
• Demonstrate expertise in city development, leveraging your knowledge and skills to drive growth and progress
• Knowledge and involvement in environmental projects and sustainable development initiatives will be highly valued
• Lead transformational initiatives to revitalize cities and regions, contributing to the overall economic advancement
• Foster partnerships and engage with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and private sector representatives, to create collaborative development strategies
• Drive job creation, infrastructure development, and other initiatives that positively impact the local economy
• Display strong leadership skills, inspire teams, and effectively manage resources to achieve sustainable and inclusive development goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred
• 15+ years' experience in a related development or tourism field within a senior leadership capacity
• Tourism Boards or Development Authorities Experience
