This role is allocated to DevOps operations, including configuration of automation, Azure DevOps service configuration, and maintenance of Azure DevOps projects, deployment pipeline configuration, including connectivity to artefacts in a common repo plus third party packages, online registries and automated test scripts.

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐀𝐄.

Technical Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leads the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment
• of risk.
• Liaises with business and technology teams on release scheduling and communication of
• progress. Conducts post-release reviews.
• Ensures that release processes and procedures are applied and that releases can be rolled back
• as needed.
• Identifies, evaluates and manages the adoption of appropriate release and deployments.
• techniques, processes and automation tools.
• Applies tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes.
• Deploys automation to achieve well-engineered and secure outcomes.
• Leads the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes.
• Develops implementation plans for complex requests for change.

Technical Experience and Expertise:

• Microsoft Azure AAD including best practice framework
• Microsoft Azure VPN/Bastion/CLI
• Microsoft Azure DevOps platform
• Microsoft Windows Server
• Microsoft IAM (PIM requesting access)
• Terraform IAC (Json)

Must have Requirements:
• 6-8 years experience in modern Azure DevOps platform environment within the context of a
software engineering company.
• Demonstrable success in development and maintenance of Azure DevOps and associated
toolsets including a highly automated environment
• Thorough knowledge of modern CI/CD with a career build on very high levels of professional
delivery in both quality and timeliness.
• Can point to a history of roles in highly automated as well as transitioning DevOps
environments
