Weβve been instructed by a UK headquartered global law firm on an opportunity for a mid-level disputes associate to join their market-leading shipping and trade law department. Experience of working in Dubai at an international or leading regional law firm would be highly beneficial. International candidates are also being considered.
ππ²π π₯π²πΎππΆπΏπ²πΊπ²π»ππ:
- You would have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience gained at a recognized international or regional law firm within the maritime or international trade sector.
- You would be common law qualified (Ideally in one of the following jurisdictions: England & Wales, US/Canada, Australia, or New Zealand).
- Middle East transactions experience is preferred. Proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage but is not a necessity.
- You would have experience advising on a variety of complex and multi-jurisdictional maritime disputes including insurance claims, sales & purchase disputes, matters pertaining to loss of cargo, and trade issues.
