You'll be leading the in-house legal function and working closely with the CEO, as well as with the wider international team, including colleagues in Europe, Asia & North America. We need somebody with experience dealing with the full range of in-house matters; setting up companies, applying for licenses, communicating with statutory boards and ministries, getting licensing approvals, drafting and reviewing contracts, legal negotiations with customers / suppliers, etc.

For this role, only Saudi national candidates will be considered.

• Assist with corporate legal matters (including M&A/JV transactions) for matters in the Kingdom and Middle East Region (“MEA”).
• Research, develop, prepare and maintain a variety of legal documentation related to the oranisation's MEA matters (including operational documents such as licences, compliance, employment-related documents, and corporate secretarial related documents).
• Review and interpret statutes, rules and policies which are relevant to the regulatory environment of the company’s international operations and its corporate subsidiaries, and work with internal clients to meet their sales, distribution and business objectives within the relevant regulatory environment.
• Assist where required and necessary in reviewing and/or drafting internal and external materials in signing and closing various corporate transactions, participating in negotiations with external parties, and managing post-completion legal issues.
• Assist in corporate structuring advice (such as research into and advice on setting up of new corporate entities in various jurisdictions) while working alongside other members of the company's Legal Department and other functional teams/business units.
• Work with and oversee the work provided by outside counsel/service providers on a variety of legal matters ensuring that standards for service delivery and cost are met.
• Perform additional services as requested.
