Robert Walters Middle East is recruiting for a Head of PR in a government entitiy in Riyadh. Due to Saudization this role is only open to KSA nationals.

Requirements:

• 15 years of experience in Communications and Public Relations
• Should be coming from a Large Listed Company

Job responsibilities

• Plan lead and direct the functions of Public Relations Department to organize and drive public awareness campaigns and programs showcasing the company’s products and services available and to ensure that the consumer public develops a positive image of the Company and its leadership position in the marketplace. Coordinate the production and publicizing of awareness and educational campaigns for company employees, disseminate internal announcements to strengthen company/employee relations and enhance company loyalty by organizing senior management meetings & visits.
• As a member of the Comm. & Public Affairs BU Management Team contribute to the formation and implementation of Comm. & Public Affairs BU Strategy, and ensure that the aims & objectives of own Department and wider level are aligned and reflected.
• Review regularly the organization structure and operational processes of Public Relations Dept., initiate and review studies in order to identify opportunities for the implementation of changes that optimize operational effectiveness.
• Review existing Company Policies and Procedures regarding Public Relations Departments on a continuous basis to assess their effectiveness, evaluate the customers current requirements and expectations, and make appropriate recommendations for enhancement of policies.
• Manage Clubs, Coordinate and encourage employees to use clubs facilities in related areas, update the list of retired employees and re-establish contact with them .
• Establish and nurture relations with Government officials, such as the Regulator, large customers and shareholders to ensure that the projected company’s image is positive and follow-up on registrations and affiliations with Governmental entities.
• Oversee, and undertake projects as agreed with SVP. Prepare a range of documents and regular / ad hoc reports as requested and exercise initiative to identify and deal with problems and issues that arise
