When Saudi Royal Aviation proposed the launch of a new private airline to exclusively serve the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they needed the best in-class recruitment agency to help them in-turn become the best-in-class airline company in the world.
The selection process for partners was carefully considered, with Robert Walters being interviewed and selected by a team of consultants for the Royal Court.
The exclusive project involved the research, recruitment, and head-hunting of top-tier Saudi nationals & expats across various commercial and technical roles – including accounting, HR, procurement, tech, mechanical, and aircrew.
The unique challenge for Robert Walters was that unlike the 30+ other countries in which it operates, Saudi is wholly unique in that the market is not driven by job boards, making the search for talent that little bit more drawn out.
With the Royal Court placing personality fit as a core characteristic, Robert Walters consultants devised a successful strategy of virtual networking and a bespoke interview process to measure and align to this key criterion.
The partnership was a resounding success, with the first key placement for the Manager of People & Culture – followed by 25+ additional roles across the core functions.
