Assistant IT Manager – SAP & Retail POS

Our client is one of the Middle East’s largest holding groups with an exciting, innovative portfolio of multiple organisations operating in sectors such as automotive, FMCG, healthcare, manufacturing etc.

One company in particular who are a leading retailer in the region is undergoing a significant transformation program. Due to this, they’re looking for an Assistant IT Manager – SAP & Retail POS Applications to come in and manage their entire IT infrastructure including PC’s, LAN/ WAN, SAP S/4 and all critical retail POS systems.

As an Assistant IT Manager – SAP & Retail POS, other responsibilities also include:

• Facilitating system reporting and managing all system integrations with internal and external partners
• Managing and leading all conception and support of IT related projects
• Creating detailed business requirement documentation and translating these into application implementation specifications
• Creating functional and technical solutions
• Manage all 3^rd party service providers
• Performing application and system reviews to present detailed fit/ gap analysis
• Creating detailed project management documentation such as scope, timelines
• Providing implementation and user support for SAP S/4 Hana and SAP CCO
• Providing technical support for all POS Retail systems and interfaces
• Oversee the overall IT function of the company
• Supervise and mentor a small team of IT Coordinators

As an Assistant IT Manager – SAP & Retail POS, you will have the following skills/ experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Must have good knowledge with SAP and POS Retail systems
• Must have good knowledge of Networking and System Administration
• Proven experience with business process management
• Ideally 2 minimum end-to-end retail landscape system implementations under your belt
• Proven experience in the retail industry
• Must be based in the UAE and this is an on-site position
