What you'll do:
As Head of Institutional Sales and Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's future. You will be responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors, participating in the project's growth, and developing strategies to increase AUM/TVL. Your ability to identify investor needs and define effective sales strategies will be crucial. You will also lead a dedicated sales team, create engaging sales materials, and set ambitious quarterly goals. - Manage all aspects of the relationship with institutional investors in the project
- Participate in the overall growth of the project like an entrepreneur
- Responsible for strategy development and implementation to grow the AUM/TVL of investment funds or platforms
- Identify needs of institutional investors and define sales strategies
- Hire and manage a sales team that can execute sales strategies for institutional investors
- Lead creation and updating of sales materials and infrastructure
- Set and achieve quarterly goals for customer engagement, onboarding, and achieving AUM/TVL targets
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Institutional Sales and Business Development role brings deep experience in capital markets across various regions including the US, UK, Dubai, Singapore or Hong Kong. With over 5 years' experience in outbound sales to institutional investors and at least 2 years' experience in digital assets/crypto/Web3, you are well-versed in navigating these complex landscapes. Your proven track record working with small teams and contributing to high growth in AUM/TVL of projects demonstrates your ability to drive success. Your high level of English language ability will be essential in this role, and an understanding of DeFi would be advantageous.
- Deep experience in capital markets in the US, UK, Dubai, Singapore or Hong Kong
- 5+ years of experience in outbound sales to institutional investors (hedge funds, family offices, venture capital funds, crypto operators)
- 2+ years of experience in digital assets/crypto/Web3
- Experience in sales with small teams such as startups and a track record of contributing to high growth in AUM/TVL of projects
- High level of English language ability
- Understanding of DeFi would be advantageous
