What you'll do:

As Human Resources and Office Manager in Riyadh, you will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive workplace culture where every individual can thrive. Your day-to-day responsibilities will span HR operations—such as managing recruitment processes from start to finish—and extend into office administration by ensuring seamless facilities management. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders across multiple regions to deliver best-in-class support for both people-related matters and operational excellence. By nurturing junior talent through coaching and guidance while also acting as a trusted advisor to partners on regulatory compliance issues—including Saudisation requirements—you will help drive organisational success. Your ability to build strong relationships with government bodies ensures ongoing compliance with local laws while your oversight of benefits administration guarantees employees receive high-quality support. In addition to these core duties, you will champion health & safety initiatives within the office environment—ensuring risk assessments are completed regularly—and lead efforts around environmental sustainability. Your expertise in managing budgets effectively allows you to optimise resources without compromising service quality. Ultimately, your role is central not only to daily operations but also to long-term strategic projects that enhance employee engagement and contribute positively towards the firm's vision for growth.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior management across Riyadh, Dubai, and London offices by demonstrating discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Provide proactive support to partners in KSA as well as regional leaders in London, acting as the senior figure for business services within the Riyadh office.
  • Coach, develop, and nurture junior staff including office assistants and receptionists while offering pastoral care to colleagues across functions.
  • Act as the primary liaison with KSA authorities such as the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Investment to ensure timely renewals of registrations for both the firm and its lawyers.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle in KSA including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, absence records management, training plans, performance reviews, salary benchmarking, bonus calculations, staff movement tracking, client secondments, international assignments, and holiday management.
  • Develop and maintain employment contract templates, policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with both firm standards and local Saudi employment law.
  • Lead on annual renewals of private medical insurance and life assurance schemes while reviewing providers periodically to ensure optimal coverage for employees.
  • Manage facilities operations including budgeting for office investments, negotiating supplier contracts, maintaining office supplies and equipment, overseeing repairs and maintenance through external contractors, ensuring compliance with lease requirements, health & safety policy implementation, risk assessments completion and training delivery.
  • Implement environmental and social governance policies locally while coordinating office refurbishments or moves in partnership with central teams.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for premises management including landlord relations; oversee reception services; ensure security protocols are followed; manage visitor arrangements; coordinate IT needs with Dubai/London teams; ensure insurance coverage is up-to-date; facilitate document retention compliance; support business continuity planning.

What you bring:

To excel as Human Resources and Office Manager in Riyadh you will bring substantial experience from similar roles within professional services—ideally gained in Saudi Arabia or comparable markets. Your fluency in English and Arabic allows you to connect meaningfully with colleagues from diverse backgrounds while navigating complex regulatory landscapes confidently. You possess deep knowledge of HR best practices spanning recruitment through performance management along with hands-on expertise managing facilities operations—from budgeting through contract negotiation—to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the office environment.
