Disputes Legal Director

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a senior Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration lawyer to join a top-tier UK international law firm as the first hire in this team in Riyadh. As Legal Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing the firm’s disputes practice in Saudi Arabia, working closely with an established team based in Dubai. This is a rare chance to take a strategic leadership role in one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving legal markets in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the firm’s disputes offering in Saudi Arabia

• Advise high-profile clients on complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters

• Build and manage client relationships, leveraging a strong network in the Saudi market

• Collaborate with the wider Middle East disputes team to deliver integrated regional service

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ PQE with a strong background in commercial disputes and international arbitration

• Experience at a leading international or top-tier regional law firm

• Deep understanding of the Saudi legal landscape and market dynamics

• Strong network within the Saudi business and legal community highly desirable

• Based in Saudi or open to relocation from Dubai
