Assistant Manager AML Quality Assurance

Assistant Manager AML Quality Assurance I’m currently working with a growing bank in Dubai that is looking to hire an Assistant Manager AML Quality Assurance to join its AML team. This role would suit someone with a strong AML and financial crime background, with experience in quality assurance, testing and AML controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct AML quality assurance reviews and testing.
• Review Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, KYC/CDD/EDD and regulatory processes.
• Identify control gaps and follow up on remediation.
• Support AML risk assessments and regulatory gap analysis.
• Prepare AML reports and management information.
• Keep up to date with UAE AML-CFT, Sanctions and CPF regulations.
• Support AML policies, procedures and training.
• Work closely with AML, Compliance, Risk, Operations and Technology teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years’ experience in AML, financial crime, compliance or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE AML-CFT and Sanctions framework.
• Experience in AML testing, quality assurance or control reviews.
• Good understanding of Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening and KYC/CDD/EDD.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience identifying control gaps and managing remediation.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CAMS or similar qualification would be a plus.
