Senior FX Sales

Our client, a leading investment bank, is growing its Global Markets Sales team and is looking for someone to build out the corporate client side, hand in hand with the trading team (Senior FX Sales).

This role (Senior FX Sales/ FX & Rates Sales, Senior Corporate Coverage (Gulf, Muscat)) is a senior, client-facing role that calls for extensive investment banking relationship management experience across the Gulf, frontier markets and emerging markets. You will be promoting products including FX Forwards, Swaps and NDFs, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Cross-Currency Swaps (XCCY).

Background:

1. 5+ years in Global Markets Sales with genuine FX and rates derivatives coverage

2. Experience of both origination and execution

3. A portable book of corporate clients

4. GCC experience (exposure to Central Asia or Africa a bonus)

5. Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred; Arabic language skills advantageous

Day-to-day responsibilities for Senior FX sales:

• Building strong relationships with CFOs and Treasurers to understand their trade flows and where their FX and rates exposure sits

• Hedging that exposure using FX and rates products

• Running ISDA and CSA negotiations end to end

• Writing and defending credit limit proposals at committee

• Onboarding liquidity providers and shaping how the sales operating model works, from client tiering to lead management to pipeline
