Senior Associate - Fund Accounting & Operations

We are supporting a leading financial services entity based in Dubai in the search for an experienced Senior Associate in Fund Accounting & Operations to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, valuations and financial reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day fund operations and ensure accurate and timely processing of fund-related activities.
• Review work performed by external fund administrators and other third-party service providers.
• Support capital calls, distributions, management fees and investor reporting.
• Prepare and review fund financial statements and support annual audits.
• Monitor cash movements, investment activity and portfolio-level transactions.
• Ensure fund activities are completed in line with internal controls, policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience across fund accounting, fund operations and/or fund oversight.
• Strong understanding of NAV calculations, reconciliations, valuations and fund financial reporting.
• Experience within private markets, including Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate or other alternative investments, is highly preferred.
• Experience overseeing fund administrators and third-party service providers would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or relevant fund accounting standards.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent would be advantageous.
