Cross-Product Operations (Reconciliations)

Seeking a core operations professional (junior/mid-level) with a strong cross-product focus (Credit, Fixed Income, Rates, FX, Listed Derivatives and Equities) to join an established team as Cross-Product Operations (Reconciliations).

Working for a Hedge Fund Manager in Abu Dhabi, for the role of Cross-Product Operations (Reconciliations), anything between 3-8 years' operations experience within financial markets, with a strong understanding of at least one of the asset classes listed above, would be ideal.

Key criteria:

1. Reconciliation of trades and positions vs. prime and clearing brokers, identifying and resolving gaps (breaks)
2. Verification of the firm's books and records on a T+1 basis
3. Providing risk, control and oversight of processes executed offshore
4. Involvement in process improvement/simplification and automation of manual, repetitive tasks (using AI tools, workflow automation or scripting) - this will be a key differentiator on your CV

Background:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant numerical or technical subject preferred
• Advanced Excel/VBA/SQL/Python
• Banking/ Financial Services

Additional skills and experience for Cross-Product Operations (Reconciliations):

• Experience working closely with, or managing, offshore operations functions is advantageous
• Likeable, reliable, hard-working team player, comfortable being available across multiple time zones

Candidates already based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, the wider UAE or the wider Middle East are preferred, as this removes the need for a lengthy relocation and adjustment period.
