An organisation is seeking a skilled Human Capital Business Partner to provide operational and strategic HR support to designated business units. This role will work closely with managers to deliver effective workforce planning, case management, and support for organisational change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations, performance, and attendance issues.

  • Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding activities.

  • Support the implementation of HR strategies and organisational change programs.

  • Lead or advise on employee relations cases including grievances and disciplinary matters.

  • Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training for managers.

  • Monitor workforce data and provide reporting on trends, risks, and compliance.

  • Work with unions and staff representatives where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR or business partner role.

  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and casework handling.

  • Experience supporting organizational change and workforce planning.

  • Comfortable working with data and producing HR reports.

  • Prior experience in a unionized setting is an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently and build trusted relationships with managers.
