HR Associate Director, Dubai - UAE National

We are currently supporting a governmental financial instiitute in Dubai who are looking to hire an Associate Director, HR to join its HR function. This is a newly created position, reporting to the Head of HR and supporting a workforce of approximately 200 employees.

The role will have a strong focus on performance management, Emiratisation and UAE National development, succession planning, organisational development and talent strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of performance management, succession, Emiratisation and organisational development initiatives.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior stakeholders on organisational capability, talent pipelines and UAE National development.
• Oversee the annual performance management cycle, including objective setting, reviews, moderation and calibration.
• Develop and deliver UAE National development programmes, including graduate, internship, scholarship and leadership pathways.
• Lead succession planning, talent reviews, career development and high-potential initiatives across the organisation.
• Develop workforce and HR metrics, dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making.
• Lead organisational development and culture initiatives focused on leadership effectiveness, employee experience and organisational performance.
• Manage relationships with universities, government entities, consultants and other strategic partners.
• Support HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and effective governance across the function.

Requirements

• UAE National with Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Psychology, Education or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to performance management, succession, organisational development and/or Emiratisation.
• Experience leading complex UAE National, graduate, leadership or development programmes.
• Strong experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience within a regulated, financial services, government or similarly complex environment would be advantageous.
• Previous people management and budget responsibility.
• Strong analytical, presentation, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Personable, collaborative and comfortable working within a diverse, mixed-cultural environment.
