Employee Relations Specialist
A well-established organisation is looking to appoint an Employee Relations Supervisor to support managers and staff across a range of HR matters. This includes overseeing employee relations cases, leading investigations, and managing certain HR operations such as payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage employee relations cases involving conduct, grievances, attendance, and performance.

Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, employment law, and appropriate case handling.

Conduct or coordinate formal investigations into workplace issues.

Review and sign off payroll changes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

Monitor and maintain data accuracy within HR systems.

Support policy development and implementation.

Prepare reports and briefings on casework trends and outcomes.

Coach and advise managers to handle employee concerns effectively.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR or employee relations role, including case management.

Experience supervising staff or leading a small team.

Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies.

Experience with payroll processing or oversight.
-
Prior experience in a unionised environment is desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
