Senior Analyst - Market Intelligence (Trade & Commodities)

Our client is seeking a Senior Market Intelligence Analyst to deliver actionable insights on product markets, trade flows, supply chains, and competitive dynamics. The position will support strategic decision-making through market monitoring, industry research, stakeholder engagement, and intelligence reporting across key sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor product markets, trade flows, pricing trends, and supply-demand dynamics.
• Analyze competitor activity, market entry/exit, pricing movements, and industry developments.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities arising from regulatory, geopolitical, logistical, or commercial developments.
• Gather and validate market intelligence through industry outreach, stakeholder engagement, surveys, and external data sources.
• Develop reports, dashboards, briefing notes, and market intelligence updates for senior management.
• Assess the impact of supply chain disruptions, commodity price movements, and changing market conditions.
• Track sector performance and provide recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with government entities, industry associations, suppliers, distributors, and private-sector stakeholders to collect and validate intelligence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Market Intelligence, Commercial Intelligence, Trade Analysis, Supply Chain Analysis, Industry Research, or Commercial Strategy.
• Experience working in Sales, Procurement or Commercial teams within an Industrial/Manufacturing organization.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Trade and supply chain dynamics
  • Product markets and industry structures
  • Competitor analysis
  • Pricing and market conditions
  • Commodities, industrial products, manufacturing, logistics, or related sectors
• Experience producing market reports, intelligence briefings, and strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
