Director of Economic Research & Market Intelligence

• Lead economic, sectoral, and market intelligence research programs.
• Oversee macroeconomic, competitiveness, and industry studies.
• Direct production of economic reports, forecasts, dashboards, and publications.
• Translate economic and market trends into strategic recommendations.
• Manage relationships with government entities, research institutions, and key stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at national and international economic forums.
• Lead and develop Economic Studies and Market Intelligence teams.

Ideal Background

• 12+ years (UAE National) or 15+ years (Expat) in economic research, market intelligence, economic advisory, or public policy.
• Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business or a related field
• PhD preferred for UAE Nationals and required for most expatriate profiles.
• Experience within:
  • Big 4 Economic Advisory
  • Economic consulting firms
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Economic development entities
  • Think tanks or research institutes
  • Government advisory organizations
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and thought leadership.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
