Senior Legal Counsel

A leading Abu Dhabi-based business is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its established legal team. This is a highly commercial, business-facing role with a strong focus on procurement, EPC and construction projects, oil & gas and general commercial matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and have significant autonomy and responsibility across a diverse workload.

Key requirements:

• Common Law qualified lawyer with c. 8–10 years’ PQE
• Strong experience across commercial contracts, procurement, EPC/construction projects and/or oil & gas
• Excellent commercial judgement and ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice
• Comfortable operating independently and engaging directly with senior management
• Politically and culturally astute, with strong stakeholder management skills
• Ideally already based within the UAE/GCC, although exceptional international candidates will be considered
• Low-ego, collaborative and delivery-focused approach
