Media & Digital Communications | UAE National

A leading government entity in Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint UAE National communications professionals to its Media & Digital Communications team.

This is an opportunity for bilingual communications professionals with experience across digital communications, social media, content development and media relations. Candidates may be considered at Associate Specialist, Specialist or Senior Specialist level, depending on their experience and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of media and digital communications strategies.
• Manage digital channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Manage content calendars, publishing schedules and day-to-day platform activity.
• Write, edit and proofread high-quality content in Arabic and English.
• Develop content including social media posts, website copy, press releases, articles, video scripts, executive messages and campaign materials.
• Translate and culturally adapt content while maintaining accuracy, tone and institutional voice.
• Translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate communications.
• Support the development of short-form digital and video content from interviews, events and long-form material.
• Coordinate communications and media coverage for exhibitions, conferences, official visits, announcements and leadership engagements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, production companies and external suppliers.
• Monitor digital performance including reach, engagement, audience growth, video performance and website traffic.
• Prepare performance reports and use insights to recommend improvements to communications activity.
• Ensure communications comply with relevant brand guidelines, approval processes, confidentiality requirements and communication standards.

Candidate Requirements

• UAE National – mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience across media, digital communications, social media, content strategy, corporate communications and/or public relations.
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English, with strong writing and editing capabilities.
• Experience managing corporate or institutional social media channels and digital content.
• Strong understanding of the UAE media and communications landscape.
• Experience within a government, semi-government, corporate or regulated environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, discretion and attention to detail.
• Experience with digital publishing, analytics, content management or social-listening tools would be advantageous.
• Photography, video production or editing experience would be an advantage.
• A portfolio demonstrating bilingual editorial and/or digital content capabilities would be beneficial.
