Awareness & Outreach Specialist

We are recruiting a UAE National Awareness & Outreach Specialist for a major sustainability initiative in Abu Dhabi. This hands-on role will support public awareness campaigns, community engagement, digital content, PR activities and events, working closely with agencies and stakeholders to encourage sustainable practices and public participation across the UAE.

We are supporting a national sustainability initiative in Abu Dhabi in recruiting an Awareness & Outreach Specialist to support communications campaigns, community initiatives and public engagement activities.

The role will focus on delivering creative and impactful outreach programmes that encourage public participation and promote sustainable practices across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of public awareness campaigns, community activations and outreach initiatives.

• Develop and coordinate content across social media, websites, newsletters and other communication channels.

• Work closely with creative agencies, PR partners and event vendors to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and communications materials.

• Coordinate public events, awareness activities and community engagement programmes.

• Support relationships with government entities, schools, community organisations, media partners and influencers.

• Monitor campaign performance, engagement metrics and digital analytics.

• Prepare campaign reports, stakeholder updates and communication materials.

• Coordinate multiple projects while maintaining timelines, budgets and quality standards.

• Contribute new ideas to strengthen public awareness and encourage positive behavioural change.

Requirements

• UAE National.

• 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, outreach or community engagement.

• Hands-on experience delivering campaigns, coordinating content, working with agencies or organising events.

• Strong understanding of social media, digital content and communications platforms.

• Good project coordination, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in government, sustainability, CSR, fashion, social impact or community initiatives would be advantageous.

• Fluent Arabic and strong written and spoken English are essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media or a related discipline.
