What you'll do:
As an Associate Manager - Group Tax, you will immerse yourself in a broad range of responsibilities that span day-to-day compliance tasks through to strategic project support. Your role will involve preparing detailed tax accounting entries, managing complex filings across different countries, and acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external partners. You will help drive successful outcomes on major initiatives such as adapting to new global reporting frameworks or responding to legislative changes. Your ability to build relationships will be essential as you work closely with finance, treasury, logistics, legal teams, overseas offices, external advisors, and authorities. Success in this position comes from your attention to detail, proactive approach to problem-solving, effective communication skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines. - Assist with the preparation of all aspects of tax accounting, provisioning, and deferred tax positions for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Support the completion of multiple tax returns including withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income across various jurisdictions such as the UAE.
- Collaborate with the Group Tax Manager and wider team on ad hoc projects including implementation of new legislative requirements and global reporting standards like Pillar 2.
- Prepare comprehensive supporting documentation and notifications required for annual filing under UAE Economic Substance Regulation (ESR).

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting coupled with full professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent is required for this role.
- Formal tax qualifications such as ATT or CTA (or equivalent) are essential for demonstrating technical expertise.
- At least three years’ experience working within the tax department of a multinational corporation or Big 4 firm is necessary for success in this position.
- Comprehensive understanding of international tax laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices is expected.
