In the late April of 2018, AMC Cinemas opened their doors to the Saudi public for the first time – attaining the lofty title of the Kingdom’s first official cinema.
The cinema’s flagship location is a geometric marvel you can find situated in a central plot on the King Abdullah Financial District – has since become a staple of the Saudi entertainment industry.
A year later, AMC’s relationship with Robert Walters commenced and owing to the success from the first placement of a Deputy General Manager – an honourable relationship was built and has since led to 16 more Deputy General Managers being suitably placed.
It was only after ensuring they had a thorough knowledge of the exact requirements for the role, that Robert Walters began a hiring process that exclusively head-hunted top tier Saudi national candidates.
AMC wanted quality, homegrown talent – so, individuals who were qualified from top business organisations with international exposure were carefully filtered for within the local Saudi market.

Not only that, but all candidates were well-informed about AMC Cinemas and a connection to the company was established.
The process was completed with each enthusiastic candidate being carefully transitioned into their new roles as part of the entertainment industry to build towards the goals of Vision 2023.
