Save job

A leading organisation in Dubai is looking for an Investment Management Analyst to join their Chief Investment Office. This role offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the real estate investment space, where your analytical skills and market knowledge will be valued. You'll play a pivotal part in shaping investment strategies, conducting thorough financial analysis, and supporting key transactions that drive business growth. You'd ideally come from an investment advisory background.

What you'll do:

As an Investment Management Analyst based in Dubai, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s real estate investment activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve deep dives into market research, financial analysis, and due diligence processes that underpin major investment decisions. You will prepare sophisticated financial models using Excel techniques such as DCFs and IRRs while distilling complex findings into clear presentations for senior stakeholders. Collaboration is key; you will work alongside asset management teams to track portfolio performance and coordinate with internal departments like finance or legal to ensure smooth transaction execution. Your ability to stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes will enable you to provide valuable insights that shape strategy. Building strong relationships with industry professionals will further enhance your effectiveness in this role. Success as an Investment Management Analyst requires meticulous attention to detail, structured thinking, deadline discipline, and a positive mindset when working both independently or within a team.

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on potential real estate investment markets and opportunities, utilising advanced data sources and industry reports.
  • Evaluate financial data, market trends, and property values to assess investment risks and returns, ensuring recommendations are grounded in robust evidence.
  • Perform various analyses including scenario modelling and sensitivity testing to assist in making informed investment or divestment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed financial models using Excel (DCF, IRR, waterfall) and conduct due diligence for potential investments, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop investment, divestment, and marketing materials tailored for senior management or capital partners and investors, presenting complex information clearly.
  • Collaborate with asset management teams to monitor the performance of existing investments, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as tax, finance, legal teams as well as external advisors to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment reports and forecasts that inform strategic decision-making across the organisation.
  • Stay updated with market trends, economic factors, capital markets developments, and investment regulations relevant to Dubai’s real estate sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate investors, brokers, managers, and other industry professionals to support business development.

What you bring:

To excel as an Investment Management Analyst in Dubai’s competitive real estate sector, you should bring substantial experience gained from similar roles within consulting or investment firms. Your technical expertise in financial modelling must be complemented by strong analytical abilities that allow you to interpret market data accurately. Effective communication—both written and verbal—is crucial when preparing reports or engaging stakeholders across multiple disciplines. Academic credentials such as a bachelor’s degree in finance or economics lay the foundation for your success; additional certifications like CPA or CFA further distinguish your profile. Familiarity with warehousing/logistics parks as well as residential or office investments ensures you understand the nuances of local markets. Your capacity for structured thinking paired with meticulous attention to detail means you consistently deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines. A collaborative spirit combined with adaptability allows you to thrive within teams led by supportive leadership while maintaining independence when required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling including DCFs, IRRs, waterfall structures, sensitivity analysis, and scenario testing is essential for this role.
  • Expert-level presentation skills using Excel and PowerPoint are required so you can distil complex analysis into clear executive materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools; familiarity with real estate databases and market reports is necessary for effective research.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills are vital for stakeholder management across internal teams and external partners.
  • High accuracy in work output combined with structured thinking ensures attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering or related field is mandatory; professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous.
  • 5–8 years' proven experience in Dubai’s real estate market within investment/finance/analytics roles is required.
  • Deep understanding of warehousing/logistics parks, residential developments, and office investments within the UAE's context is expected.
  • Ability to work dependably both independently as well as part of a team demonstrates commitment to communal success.
  • A positive mindset coupled with flexibility enables you to adapt quickly within a supportive leadership environment.
