M&A and Investments Director

A leading organisation in Dubai is seeking an experienced Investments and M&A Director to shape its growth strategy, drive high-impact deals, and influence key decisions at the executive level. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the group’s investment strategy to align with long-term growth objectives across diverse markets.
• Lead end-to-end transaction processes, including acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee portfolio performance by evaluating risk-adjusted returns and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Conduct advanced financial modelling and due diligence across financial, legal, commercial, technical, and ESG domains.
• Establish governance frameworks for capital expenditure appraisals and post-investment reviews.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, advisors, private equity firms, and strategic partners.
• Mentor and develop a talented team while fostering collaboration across departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, project finance, or investment banking within asset-heavy industries (e.g., infrastructure, utilities, data centers).
• Proven track record of leading complex transactions and large-scale capital projects.
• Expertise in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, and structured financing solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly.
• Experience working in GCC markets is highly desirable but not essential.
