A leading semi-government utilities organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their Accounts & Reporting department. What you'll do:

As Financial Reporting Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the end-to-end financial reporting process for the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve preparing comprehensive financial statements in line with international standards; coordinating critical reporting cycles; managing tax obligations; reviewing complex transactions; developing your team’s capabilities; maintaining strong internal controls; facilitating audits; delivering actionable financial analysis; improving processes for greater efficiency; collaborating across departments; monitoring KPIs; promoting safe working conditions; communicating strategic objectives; conducting performance appraisals; identifying technology needs; and ensuring all staff receive appropriate training. • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in financial reporting or auditing roles within public accounting firms or corporate finance environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field coupled with professional certification such as CA, CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills enabling you to interpret complex financial data accurately and communicate insights effectively to senior management.
• Advanced interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate seamlessly across teams while addressing stakeholder needs responsively.
• Strong commitment for results demonstrated through timely completion of tasks aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
