What you'll do:

As Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s financial operations in Dubai. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing complex month-end processes, ensuring rigorous compliance with both local and international accounting standards, and supporting statutory audits. You will act as a bridge between local teams and global headquarters, translating contractual terms, facilitating revenue recognition discussions, and preparing insightful reports for stakeholders across the business. • Oversee the month-end close process with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all financial information is accurate and compliant with local GAAP as well as internal deadlines.
• Coordinate closely with the corporate accounting team on US GAAP adjustments and ensure seamless integration of local financial data into global reporting cycles.
• Adhere strictly to established close checklists, review journal entries for accuracy, and prepare comprehensive monthly account reconciliations.
• Review customer contracts thoroughly, translate key terms into English, and collaborate with the corporate accounting team on revenue recognition and broker compensation matters.
• Work alongside local teams to ensure vendor invoices are coded correctly and customer invoices are issued promptly in accordance with contract terms.
• Prepare detailed monthly income statements and balance sheet analytics to provide clear insights into financial performance.
• Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements in line with local GAAP requirements and oversee the annual statutory audit process from start to finish.
• Ensure full compliance with local statutory tax obligations by coordinating filings with both the corporate tax team and external advisors.
• Support local leadership by providing timely operational and financial analysis tailored to evolving business needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the financial planning and analysis team on monthly analytics, reporting tasks, and ad-hoc projects as required.
