Experienced treasury executive role based in Dubai, leading group funding, liquidity, and financial risk management across a global organisation. Responsible for strategic project financing, banking relationships, corporate transactions, and partnering with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, optimise capital structure, and support long-term business growth.

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished treasury professional to join a globally renowned organisation as Group Vice President Treasury, based in Dubai. This pivotal role offers you the chance to shape and influence the financial strategy of a major international group, working closely with senior leadership to ensure robust funding, risk management, and liquidity solutions across a diverse portfolio. You will be empowered to lead negotiations on complex financing arrangements, support high-profile corporate transactions, and play a key part in strategic decision-making at the highest level. The organisation is committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where your expertise will be valued and your career ambitions supported through ongoing development opportunities. With a focus on flexibility, professional growth, and a culture that champions shared success, this is an outstanding platform for you to make a significant impact while enjoying the benefits of working in one of the world’s most dynamic business hubs.

  • Play a central role in shaping group-wide treasury strategy, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term financial planning across multiple regions and business units.
  • Enjoy the opportunity to work alongside experienced senior executives, contributing directly to high-value transactions, new acquisitions, and innovative funding solutions.
  • Benefit from a supportive workplace culture that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development within a global context.

What you'll do:

As Group Vice President Treasury, you will play an integral role in driving the financial health and resilience of the organisation. Your daily responsibilities will see you collaborating with local and group finance teams to ensure all aspects of financing, risk mitigation, and liquidity management are executed flawlessly. You will take ownership of negotiating complex debt arrangements, overseeing cash flow optimisation strategies, and supporting major corporate transactions such as acquisitions or disposals. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly will be essential as you provide insightful reports to senior management. In addition to managing key external relationships with banks and partners, you will also foster internal collaboration by guiding your team towards shared objectives. Your expertise will be called upon not only in routine operations but also in shaping long-term funding strategies that underpin future growth. By promoting best practices in treasury policy adherence across all levels of the organisation—including subsidiaries and associates—you will help maintain operational efficiency while safeguarding against risk. This position offers you the scope to make meaningful contributions at both strategic and operational levels within a truly global enterprise.

  • Oversee all activities of the Treasury Manager, ensuring seamless operation of treasury functions and providing guidance or direct management in their absence.
  • Arrange corporate facilities by leading negotiations for both new and existing debt structures, ensuring optimal terms for the organisation.
  • Ensure sufficient committed finance is available at all times to fund group activities by managing relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Take responsibility for structuring, arranging, and concluding financing arrangements for subsidiaries and joint ventures as required by business needs.
  • Optimise cash management processes so that funds are always available for deployment while maximising returns on excess balances without incurring undue risks.
  • Negotiate derivatives with banking partners for both corporate entities and group companies to deliver effective solutions for identified exposures.
  • Act as an authorised signatory on company bank accounts within delegated authority limits set by the Board of Directors.
  • Deputise for the Executive Vice President Group Treasury when necessary, representing treasury interests at senior meetings or during critical projects.
  • Support the identification and development of long-term funding options by collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Review treasury-related exposures regularly, design appropriate solutions, manage approval processes for financing transactions or investment products, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

What you bring:

You will bring extensive experience gained from senior roles within large-scale banking or multinational organisations. Your background should reflect deep familiarity with sophisticated treasury operations, ranging from cash flow modelling through to complex debt negotiations and project financing, and demonstrate your ability to operate effectively under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field from a recognised institution is required for this position.
  • Appropriate professional qualification with membership of an internationally recognised treasury or finance body is essential.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years’ post-qualification experience within banking or large multinational environments is expected, including at least five years at senior level within a finance department.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cash flow-based financial modelling is crucial for success in this role.
  • Proven strategic thinking abilities combined with strong business acumen are highly valued attributes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of treasury products as well as debt structuring techniques is necessary.
  • Significant transaction experience within the infrastructure sector will be advantageous.
