Senior Finance Officer

We are supporting a leading financial services client based in Abu Dhabi in the search for an experienced Finance Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including general ledger, reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Manage cash flow, payments, receivables and financial controls.
• Support regulatory and management reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, ideally within financial services.
• Previous experience working within a DFSA or ADGM regulated environment is a MUST.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and financial services regulatory requirements.
• ACCA, ACA, CPA or CMA qualification would be advantageous.
