Fixed Income specialist

Investment Bank seeking a Fixed Income specialist with 3–5 years of experience within Fixed Income, either within Treasury, Trading, or Fixed Income Sales, to join their FI Market-Making team.

Separate from the Fixed Income Trading unit, the focus of this role will be market-making and liquidity provisioning across a group of exchange-listed FI securities, not client flow execution or discretionary risk-taking. The role reports directly into the Head of the team.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent speed, accuracy, intellect, and attention to detail in their duties.

Key duties for Fixed Income specialist:

1. Live monitoring of quote performance against set up-time, minimum quote size, and maximum spread obligations — ensuring adherence at all times.
2. Design new automated execution tools, or improve existing execution strategies, to optimise the day-to-day operations of the team.
3. Cross-functional engagement internally with the tech and quant risk teams, and externally with relevant relationship managers.
4. Play a key role as Fixed Income specialist in the growth of the function.
