English Instructor

The English Language Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Foundation Year English courses, focusing on building foundational language skills, academic communication, and critical thinking. This position requires a native English speaker with professional teaching qualifications and the ability to support diverse learners in an English-medium academic environment.

• Teach Foundation English I (Reading & Vocabulary Development) and/or Foundation English II (Academic Writing & Communication)
• Deliver instruction on academic reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, and English language mechanics
• Emphasis on building confidence and fluency in spoken English, including presentation skills and active listening

Qualifications:

• Native English speaker from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field from an accredited university
• CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) or equivalent: DELTA or MA in TESOL/Applied Linguistics
• Minimum 2 years of professional English language teaching experience in an international or academic setting
• Professional English proficiency (CEFR Level C1 or equivalent)
