DLP Technical Expert (6-month Contract)

Design, implement, tune, and operationalize DLP controls across endpoint, email, web, cloud/SaaS, and network channels to mitigate data exfiltration risks and strengthen data protection capabilities in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Review existing DLP architecture, policies, incidents, and enforcement gaps.
• Develop an Exfiltration Coverage Matrix and identify high-risk exfiltration vectors.
• Design, build, and deploy DLP policies across endpoint, email, web, SaaS, and network channels.
• Conduct testing, pilot deployments, and policy tuning activities.
• Implement exception governance, policy precedence, and operational processes.
• Integrate DLP telemetry with SIEM and SOC platforms.
• Develop KPI reporting, severity models, runbooks, and deliver training.

Qualifications

• Proven DLP policy engineering experience across endpoint, email, web, and SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of data exfiltration threats, bypass techniques, and DLP architecture.
• Experience within financial services and/or government environments.
• Knowledge of evidence-grade logging and structured change control processes.
