Threat & Risk Assessment Expert

Our client is a global technology consulting group seeking a Threat & Risk Assessment Expert in Doha, Qatar to support their key customer. The expert will be responsible for performing Threat & Risk Assessments across projects, applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, third parties, and enterprise environments to identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks

Responsibilities

• Conduct Threat & Risk Assessments (TRAs) for technology initiatives and operational environments.
• Assess cloud, hybrid, on-premises, legacy, and third-party environments.
• Develop risk statements, risk ratings, and treatment recommendations.
• Evaluate security control effectiveness and residual risk levels.
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Legal, ERM, and project teams.
• Support governance reviews and risk acceptance activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience conducting Threat & Risk Assessments in financial institutions and/or government organizations.
• Strong knowledge of threat modelling, enterprise risk management, and risk analysis methodologies.
• Understanding of enterprise architectures and security control frameworks.
• Experience working within embedded Information Security teams.
