Senior Software Engineer (Riyadh Based)

Our client is a high-growth AI-SaaS organisation operating in the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) space. The company is in an early scaling phase, building its core engineering team and partnering with financial institutions across the region.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and full-stack development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and scaling end-to-end software products, ideally within financial services or other regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native SaaS applications within a GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) platform
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization
• Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs, with strong emphasis on Python or Java-based development
• Implement and enhance DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment strategies
• Participate in full-stack development activities where required, supporting both backend and frontend engineering needs
• Ensure solutions are designed and delivered in alignment with stringent security and regulatory requirements within financial services environments
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and senior engineering leadership to support architectural direction and technical strategy

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps-focused roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment orchestration
• Strong backend engineering experience, with proficiency in Python preferred
• Demonstrated exposure to full-stack development across modern web application architectures
• Experience working within financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries is essential
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, scalability, resilience, and performance optimization
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end software solutions in SaaS environments\
• Excellent command of English, with strong communication and collaboration skills
