Job Title: Lead Network Engineer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Reporting to: Managing Director

The Lead Network Engineer provides hands‑on technical leadership for designing, implementing, and securing enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on Fortinet‑based network architecture, team leadership, and delivery of secure, scalable, and well‑documented network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network solutions, including Fortinet solutions
• Provide technical leadership to junior Network Engineers
• Produce and maintain network diagrams, designs, and runbooks
• Govern network standards, security posture, and best practices
• Translate business requirements into effective network architectures
• Lead design reviews and act as escalation point for complex issues
• Support projects, migrations, upgrades, and optimization activities
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years’ experience in network engineering or architecture
• Excellent communication and articulation skills in English
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, BGP/OSPF
• Strong experience with Fortinet products
• Hands‑on expertise with HA firewalls and configuration of policies, rules etc.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting, investigation, triage of network outages and problems
• Experience with secure network design, zero‑trust, and segmentation
• Strong documentation skills (Visio, Lucidchart or similar)
• Excellent communication and proven team leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Fortinet certifications (NSE4–NSE7)
• Client‑facing or project delivery experience
• Exposure to multi‑vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto)
