I.T Systems Consultant
* You will provide consulting, strategic guidance, and comprehensive shared services support for IT team and leadership team. * You will play a key part in optimizing IT infrastructure, systems, and processes across the entire organization, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of both the parent company and its diverse entities. * You will leverage multifaceted IT background and proven ability to influence and support technology-driven decision-making at all levels.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate closely with the IT VP, IT leadership team, and representatives from subsidiaries and affiliates to understand diverse organizational goals. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for enhanced business strategies, increased operational efficiency, and competitive advantage across the enterprise.

- Analyze, design, deliver, and expand the IT shared services. Recommend enhancements, standardization, or new services to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve user experience for our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Conduct thorough assessments of IT systems and infrastructure across the company and its subsidiaries/affiliates. Analyze performance, security, scalability, and integration. Develop and present well-reasoned recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, replacements, or new technology implementations.
- Consult on IT projects throughout all phases, ensuring alignment with the needs of both the parent company and its affiliates. Provide expert advice to project teams and troubleshoot complex problems.
- Proactively identify potential security threats, system vulnerabilities, outdated technologies, and other risks across the entire IT landscape. Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of technology vendors and solutions that meet the needs of both
- the parent company and subsidiaries/affiliates. Participate in contract lifecycle and negotiations,
- ensuring the best possible value.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant departments to create, review, and update and implement IT policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure they align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the specific needs of both the parent company and the subsidiaries/affiliates.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor across the IT department. Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to share technical expertise and promote IT best practices throughout the enterprise.
- Enhance or develop and maintain and support computer software and hardware; test and evaluate Information Technology (IT) systems; develop and mentor IT Support members; manage & assist in managing Information Technology (IT) projects.
- Maintain and support Computer hardware and related infrastructure; test Data Network Systems (LAN/WAN, wireless and structure cabling).
- Adhere to Service Level Agreement SLA when supporting customers, escalate any service, and Train and mentor IT team members.
- Responsible and accountable for the support team activities and maintaining internal team and external vendor SLAs.
- Manage & advise in implementing Voice and Data Networks, Data center operations, IT compute and storage infrastructure, etc.
- Manage, assist, and advise in managing Information Technology (IT) projects.
- Support for timely renewal of IT equipment's warranty, maintenance, and software licenses.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Information Technology field.
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
- IT Industry Accredited and related certificate e.g. ITIL, MCSA, MCITP, CCNP, CCSP, VCAP.
- PMP or similar project management certifications are an added advantage.
- A strong command of various IT domains, including applications, hardware, software, networking, cloud computing, security, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to dissect complex systems, identify component relationships, troubleshoot problems, and propose optimized solutions.
- The capability to design and recommend IT infrastructure architectures that align with business objectives, considering scalability, performance, and security.
- A solid understanding of database concepts, administration, and query languages (SQL) for managing and extracting insights from data.
- Understand how technology drives business value and be able to translate technical solutions into tangible business outcomes.
- The ability to assess the big picture, analyze long-term technology trends, and provide guidance on how IT can enable competitive advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and influence decision-making.
- Understand basic project management principles and methodologies to assist in the planning, executing, and monitoring IT-related projects.
- The skill to form strong connections with clients, colleagues, and vendors to foster collaboration and trust.
