Senior IT Auditor and Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Auditor & Data Analyst to join their Internal Audit function in Ajman, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting risk-based IT audits, evaluating technology controls, assessing cybersecurity risks, and leveraging data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and provide data-driven insights.

Responsibilites:

• Plan and execute risk-based IT audits, including IT Risk Assessments, IT General Controls (ITGCs), Application Controls, Cybersecurity Audits, and Information Security reviews.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls, identify risks and control gaps, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen the control environment.
• Conduct audits of ERP and enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Banner SIS, Workday, and other critical applications.
• Leverage data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, and Tableau to analyze large datasets, identify anomalies, enhance audit coverage, and support data-driven assurance activities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and automated monitoring solutions to improve audit efficiency and support continuous risk monitoring.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and risk stakeholders to communicate audit findings, support remediation efforts, and promote best practices in governance, risk management, and information security.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CISA certification (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5–7 years of IT Audit experience
• Strong experience in IT Risk Assessment, IT General Controls (ITGC), Application Controls, Risk-Based Auditing, Cybersecurity Audits, and Information Security
• Experience auditing ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Banner SIS, SAP, Workday, etc.)
• Experience with Data Analytics (Power BI, SQL, Python or Tableau

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISO 27001 knowledge or certification
• CIA, CRISC, or CISSP certification
• Experience in Higher Education, Government, Banking, or Big Four firms
