Product Leader – EHS (UAE National)
We are looking for an Emirati Product Leader to own the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) products for our estemeed client. The role leads a tech team, partners with EHS specialists, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure digital safety platforms enable proactive risk prevention, compliance, and safe operations across industrial facilities.
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for digital EHS and workplace safety platforms
- Lead and develop a team of Product Owners and Product Analysts within the EHS domain
- Partner with EHS, Operations, and Plant leadership to translate safety requirements into digital solutions
- Drive delivery and adoption of EHS products such as incident management, risk assessment, inspections, and monitoring tools
- Oversee digital initiatives related to risk prediction, prevention, and compliance reporting
- Support integration of EHS platforms with enterprise systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, IoT, asset systems)
- Ensure products support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and operational safety standards
- Govern prioritisation across the EHS product backlog based on risk impact and business criticality
- Act as the escalation point for EHS product risks, incidents, and decision‑making
Role Expectations
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related degree from a reputable
university. Master’s Degree preferred. - Strong understanding of EHS principles, workplace safety, and industrial risk management
- Experience owning or leading digital EHS, safety, or operational platforms in industrial environments
- Comfort working with technologies such as EHS management systems, IoT monitoring, or asset‑linked solutions
- Proven people leadership and cross‑functional stakeholder management capability
- Product mindset focused on prevention, reliability, and real‑world operational outcomes
- Ability to operate confidently in high‑risk, regulated, and safety‑critical environments
- Trusted decision‑maker with strong communication and escalation skills
