Associate Construction Disputes

A leading international law firm with a well-established presence in the Middle East is seeking to further grow its contentious construction practice in Dubai.

The Role

You will work on a broad range of high-value and technically complex disputes including:

  • FIDIC-based construction claims
  • Arbitration proceedings (DIAC, ICC,ad hoc)
  • Delay, disruption and variation claims
  • Termination and final account disputes
  • Large-scale infrastructure, transport and energy projects across the GCC

You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on headline matters, with early responsibility for drafting submissions, managing quantum and delay experts, and assisting in hearings.

Requirements

  • UK qualified lawyer (England and Wales)
  • 2–5 years PQE in contentious construction / international arbitration
  • Strong experience in construction disputes, ideally with exposure to FIDIC and major infrastructure projects
  • Training from a recognised international or top-tier disputes practice
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills
  • UAE expeprience would be an advantage
