General Counsel- Leading Industrial Company

A leading Abu Dhabi-based industrial and energy platform is seeking an experienced General Counsel to lead its legal and governance function across the UAE and wider region. This is a senior strategic role supporting executive leadership on high-value corporate, commercial, regulatory and cross-border matters within a dynamic and internationally connected business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all legal, compliance and governance matters across the business
• Advise senior management and board stakeholders on strategic transactions and risk
• Oversee corporate, commercial, projects and regulatory legal matters
• Manage external counsel and legal budgets
• Support M&A, joint ventures and regional expansion initiatives
• Drive best-practice governance and compliance frameworks

Candidate Profile

• Internationally qualified lawyer (UK, US, Commonwealth or equivalent)
• Significant in-house and/or top-tier international law firm experience
• Strong background in corporate/commercial, projects, energy, industrials or infrastructure sectors
• Experience operating within the GCC/UAE preferred
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management capability
