Legal Counsel – Hospitality Group (Dubai) A leading lifestyle hospitality group is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Dubai-based team, supporting a growing portfolio of restaurant and hospitality brands across the region. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role reporting into the Head of Legal, with broad exposure across contracts, operations, and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including:
    • Lease agreements
    • Franchise and management agreements
    • Supplier and service contracts
    • NDAs, MOUs, and general commercial documentation
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and leadership
  • Support corporate governance matters, including board documentation and resolutions
  • Oversee trade license renewals and regulatory compliance across UAE jurisdictions (Mainland, DIFC, ADGM)
  • Liaise with landlords, external counsel, and government authorities where required
  • Maintain legal trackers, contract databases, and ensure proper documentation/filing systems

Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ legal experience (in-house or relevant private practice)
  • Strong experience in commercial contracts and UAE regulatory environment
  • Exposure to hospitality, retail, or multi-site operations preferred
  • Experience with lease agreements and licensing processes is highly advantageous
  • Arabic language skills (spoken and written) strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
