Senior Manager, Corporate Communications
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager Corporate Communications to join a highly respected investment organisation in Abu Dhabi, supporting the growth and diversification of the UAE’s economy.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement comprehensive communications activities in partnership with colleagues from both the central Communications Unit and various business platform teams.
- Support the Head of Communications by managing public relations campaigns, crisis communications responses, leadership profiling initiatives, and speaking engagements for key stakeholders.
- Develop engaging content in English (and ideally Arabic) for internal and external audiences, ensuring messaging consistency across all channels.
- Foster strong relationships with asset managers, portfolio companies, senior leaders, local partners, government entities, and media representatives to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee internal communications programmes that promote transparency and collaboration within the organisation while reinforcing core values and objectives.
- Manage media relations efforts by preparing press releases, briefing documents, Q&As, and coordinating interviews or media events as required.
- Contribute to sponsorships, events, conferences, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and other special projects that enhance brand reputation.
- Monitor industry trends and sector developments—particularly in healthcare & life sciences, advanced manufacturing, AI & technology, real estate—to inform proactive communication strategies.
- Collaborate with agency partners as well as in-house teams to deliver integrated campaigns that support business objectives across multiple platforms.
- Respond promptly to ad hoc communications requests or needs from within the business platform while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships involving asset managers, portfolio companies, senior executives, government officials, and local partners in a considerate manner.
- Proven experience handling crisis communications situations with sensitivity and professionalism to protect organisational reputation.
- Expertise in developing high-quality content in English for various channels; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable due to frequent interactions with local stakeholders.
- Background in financial communications is advantageous for supporting sector-specific messaging requirements.
